Hehe, I've been eating small bits of them every once in a while, and no attack! Not after the FIRST day that I ate them, at least.

Sadly, I fed the last bits of them to my dad and his friend, so none left.

Though I might just make some more of them today

You are a rebel after my own heart. I'm glad, though, you escaped gi agony. My worst offense is drinking the better half of a pot of molten java most mornings. I'm craving high fructose corn syrup fiercely.

Kate, IBS-D.

Ooh, Kate, I hear ya.

I'm not a coffee person myself, but I used to have corn syrup on vanilla ice cream! Aie! Talk about a trigger, huh?

I did make more brownies today, but instead of margarine and oil I used eggs and butter, to make sure that I didn't eat them.

Darned!

Good for you!!! Margarine is so WW2 invention. Now, dear Ravenndark--these brownies are the real thing. These ones are actually worth your while to consider sneaking.

Did you have an "Easy Bake" oven when you were a kid. I'm 31 and I want one!!! I never had one, but I was always so jealous of friends that did. When the going gets tough, the tough get baking.

Personally, I'm going through a "NO MAN--make jam" phase (to borrow a Monica-ism from FRIENDS). Except one problem: I keep eating all the ingredients before they get to be jam so I spend the day feeling like I ate the innards or guts of a pie consuming all this raw jam. Totally froot-looped and I love it. I just need a higher level of fructose, now.

I hope you make some icing for those brownies involving lots of butterfat. I always thought that the icing was the best part of the cake--the oreo interior better than the exterior...

Kate, IBS-D.
