I love being a mother of 2. Quinlan is home from hospital and is doing great. 6 1/2 pounds and still growing. We are so relieved she's OK. Liam likes her so far. He smiles and points and says "Baby". Last night, he was pointing out her nose, eyes, etc. and held her hand. Then he asked to hold her. We got the CUTEST picture of him (with Daddy helping) holding her. He even gave her 2 kisses (He's VERY stingy with his kisses so Quinlan is lucky).
How are your girls doing? Any of them in school???
Let me know how you are.

Awww! How sweet! You are lucky. Many times the oldest is so incredibly jealous of the baby. My boys are just 13 months apart. My oldest would crawl in his baby brother's infant seat (when it was empty, of course) and put his brother's pacifer or bottle in his mouth. Great way to get mom and dad to bring out the camera!
The cutest thing was when they got a little older (like 1 and 2) and the oldest would crawl in his brother's crib in the morning and play with him. We had one of those baby monitors in there and we would wake up to hear Brad reading a board book to his little brother (Can Jace say "Cat'? Can Jace say "Dog"? It was the sweetest thing and kept them occupied for awhile while we laid in bed a few minutes. Oh, those were the days!

Oh Han that is so great to hear. Try to get as much sleep as you can because it really does make a difference and don't push yourself too much. I am speaking from experience. Post-partum depression sucks.

My girls are doing good pretty good. Besides the horrible nosebleed today they are doing well. That was so scary. We were driving in the car and Meike says, "look mommy" Blood was streaming down her nose and Madeline is gagging. I am going to make an appointment next week to see the dr. because I think that there is something more to the nose bleed. If anyone reads this and has suggestions let me know. She had a huge blood clot thing come out. It still makes me nauseous. She did bump her nose yesterday but I can't imagine it was from that. Maybe it was the change in weather.

We are homeschooling the girls this year. I am doing the majority of it. We started three weeks ago so we will be three weeks ahead of the local schools. They seem to enjoy it. Maddie loves math and is already done most of the objectives I made for her. I'm not sure what we are going to do. I made the objectives based on the schools. Amazing how good they can be at a specific subject. Sometimes it isn't what you expect. She is a little perfectionist so reading has been a challenge. She thinks she can't do it so she won't try. Too bad I know she can. I have become her little cheerleader. She giggles every time she does try and gets right.

And I am doing well. I finally found a fiber that works. Yeah. This week is much better. I even made it through Meike's dermatologist appt. with no trouble. And this was after we were 20 min. late from the bloody nose incident.

This is longer than I expected but you asked how we were all doing.

My girls did the same thing. I miss those times. They go by too fast. Madeline wasn't jealous of Meike. They get along so well. Only problem we had was when Meike was a week old. I left Meike laying on the floor in the living room and Maddie tried picking her up. Tory and I were in the kitchen. Our kitchen, dinning room and living room is all open so we can see everything. We turned around and said MADELINE. Maddie dropped Meike, head first. Luckily Maddie didn't have her too far off the ground and she was fine. They are two year apart.
