Hi all,
I'm very new to this site, but I have to tell you that Heather's books and diet recommendations are already making a huge difference in my life! Unfortunately, I have a long way to go to consider myself "back to normal," so hopefully you will be patient with me :-)

As my subject says, my "real" problem is endometriosis and adhesions (I've had three surgeries and will probably have my 4th in the next year or two). IBS has also come up as a possible diagnosis, but until now, I have not had any recommendations for dealing with the latter besides "why don't you just relax!"

My last laparoscopy was in 1/02, and there are adhesions on my small and large instestines. if we can get this cleaned up, there may be a chance that the IBS will go away, but I'm pretty tired and am holding out for a hysterectomy.

There's just one problem: I still want to have a child! Does anyone have any info to share about IBS and pregnancy? Any comments are welcome.

Chigal (aka Jane C.)

Welcome to the board,

Also - there is a former post of endometriosis. You can search for that too if you wish.

Also- I know you can get pregnant with endo and IBS because my sister has endo and has been through surgery and is now 7 months pregnant and doing well.

Good luck and again, welcome!
