10 Things I am thankful for

Since it's so hot and yucky I figured today would be a good day for us to all share what we are thankful for. 
1. TommyNY
2. my cat, Sara Bell
3. my brother's pool that I enjoyed on Saturday, twice
4. my air conditioner
5. my deck that I enjoyed last night with a magazine and a drink
6. my tummy has been pretty good lately
7. the new people that moved into my building are VERY quiet and their dog is so ADORABLE!
8. living alone and being able to walk around in my underwear anytime I want to.
9. buying a full size ironing board and not having to use that pathetic 1/2 size one I thought was a good idea.
10. all my friends, both in this city, other cities and on-line.

This is a good idea!.. although, it's not hot and yucky here, it is grey and rainy and a different kind of yucky!
1. Adrian. Love, love, love him. We have been getting along so well, he has been very good to me.
2. Asacol - Reeeeeally helps my tummy.
3. Adrian's new job - we still don't see each other much, but they treat him waaaay better.
4. The Seattle Get Together in 2 weeks - For being something to look forward to!
5. My little dog Gabby, for still being around to give me cuddles.
6. Not living alone, but choosing to still walk around in my underwear. 
7. eBay!! I got so many wonderful things, I just can't wait for it to start arriving in the mail!!
8. Roobios tea and Metro Mint Water - am peeing all day, every day now as am completely addicted to both.
9. Having the internet at work! Oh my god, the other day it went off for some reason for like 10 minutes and I was like, "What am I gonna do all day now???"
10. Last but not least, everybody here who gives me support even though I am a bit of a whinger.  **hugs**

1. my wonderful boyfriend, who woke up extra early yesterday just to be with me when I was sick
2. my kitty Lacey, who is still adorable even when she's being a trouble maker at 4am in the morning
3. having an awesome job and boss
4. my family and friends
5. Shelley, Kandee, and Melissa - who amaze me every day with their energy and enthusiasm
6. making over $125 for the Fall Sprawl by standing outside of Wal-mart for 8 hrs on Saturday making balloon animals and keeping my step-mom company while she sold her breast cancer awareness junk (woohoo!)
7. being able to afford renting a nice quiet condo by myself
8. naps - especially the one I will enjoy later if I'm still not feeling well
9. my upcoming trip to Seattle with Mike to see Shelley & Shane, Stephie & Adrian, and Heather and Will
10. life overall

3. My new baby Samwise whose love is just so genuine and sweet, I love cuddling him!
4. Crispix cereal.
5. The pool, wears the kids out by bedtime.
6. Our babysitter who is coming tomorrow night, she is the best.
7. That hubby and I still love each other so much.
8. PC, internet, and email - keeps me in touch with so many great people.
9. Balloons - kids are still entertained days later from the ones from Sarah's party!
10. Vodka... Eric and I had a little last night in juice and tummy tolerated it fine, helps us RELAX if you know what I mean!

2. Knowing that my family is there if I need them
3. Our cat, Suki
4. Having a job that at least pays me enough to squeak by each week and not have to struggle TOO much
5. Knitting
6. Summer!! I'll take this heat and humidity any day over snow!
7. The weight I have lost since diagnosed and starting Heather's diet
8. The boards - they help me through some rough times, even if I do not always post
9. My new cell phone! I was having MAJOR problems with Cingular and switched to Verizon this weekend. So far - problem solved!!
10. Being forced to learn how to cook in order to follow this diet - the diet is a lifesaver and I'm eating so much healthier than I was a year ago! And I'm enjoying cooking and baking!

1. My beautiful husband Asaf, who cuts up ginger root when I am nauseous in the middle of the night, whenever, strokes my hair and tells me he loves me. I would shrink away without him.
2. This board which took away all the isolation of having had IBS for so long. There is always a place I can come when it all gets too much to bear.
3. My best friends back in London who continue to stay in amazing touch and are there for me when I need them.
4. My loving Mummy and Daddy who listen and support me (for the most part!!) till I am blue in the face, and for being my friends too.
5. My baby brother Leon (age 23!!) who never judges or finds fault, just listens and makes me laugh. He is perfect.
6. For this yucky humid weather which I prefer so much to any other season!! :-)
7. For a bathroom full of magazines and books and my diary to help me through the endless sitting there.
8. For Asaf making enough money to allow me to work part time and relax.
9. For studying clinical nutrition and naturopathy and allowing me to enter a world where one day I will help others.
10. For hope. Hope that I will find the cure for this, that I will find healing eventually, that this is going to be ok, that this is happening for a reason, and that one day it will be part of my past and not my present.
