Hello all. I hope you can help me. I am a graduate student at George Washington University. I am in the process of finishing my thesis about women who are taking the prescription medication Zelnorm. I need about ten women volunteers who are currently taking Zelnorm. The purpose of my paper is to interview these women over a 2 month period to gather data on their quality of life before and after taking Zelnorm. They will only be identified as "case" studies. Could you tell me how to go about recruiting these ladies or refer me to physicians or clinics prescribing the drug? Any information you can provide me would be greatly appreciated. Hi there-
I am IBS-D so Zelnorm is not a drug for me, but try posting on the hypnosis board to ShawnEric. He has a huge knowledge data base and is quite knowledable about the UNC gastro dept and may be able to give you names of people to contact or refer you to sites and studies that are available. I am sure he will be very helpful.
Also, there have been many posts on Zelnorm and if you type that into the search link (link is at the top of the page)you may come up with some info.

Thank you so much for this information. I have a dear friend that is suffering from ulcerative colitis. I'm learning about about GI disorders and hope that a cure is discovered soon. Once again, thank you and God bless!
