Beware today (this week actually) there are some crazy emails floating around with virus. The new one that has caught up with me today has the heading "Mail not deliverable" or "Email contains virus". If you get the emails (trust me once you start they don't stop, I have deleted about 40 today) just delete them. From what I can gather from searching the internet is that someone opened one of the many attachments in an email that was a boo boo and it is trying to spread via their address book.

I got hit with the virus mentioned above, and got about 100 emails that were infected with it, from people I don't even know! Then this morning, my computer showed the message 'Invalid system disk' and wouldn't function. I called the support people and they told me to unhook the keyboard and plug it back in. This allowed me to use the computer. Then they said to go to www.symantec.com which gives directions on how to check your computer for the virus. ( I don't know if this only works for Dell or any computer) The scan showed my computer was not infected but this seems to have stopped all the emails, thank God!

Symantec is the launching system for Norton antivirus and internet security. This is the program I use on my computer and I believe it is available for for anyone to order. I have had great luck with it and Norton is a pretty big name.

I heard on the news this morning that the virus started on a porn site...just goes to show you that whoever posted it/or picked it up should not have been there in the first place! LOL! Talk about being caught in the act!
