This weekend was May 24, I went out and tried to have fun. I took a lot of Immodium, lol. Friday night I drank 3 beers on an empty stomach and my friends think someone slipped me "e". I don't do drugs normally but I felt pretty darn good for a few hours out of my sickly life. Saturday I had firey D hahaha. Ya, it sucked at the time, but I know it was the beer and it makes it kinda funny. I went out again on Saturday night and had 2 beers on a gurgly belly. More Immodium and today I'm not doing too bad. I have girly cramps though, the pain never ends. I started drinking coffee again in the mornings, but only on the weekends. I have an appointment to see an IBS Doctor in 2 months. Until then I'm doing the best I can to get by and have some fun at the same time, hard to do, IBS is not fun.

I just wanted to say 'hi' to a fellow Londoner! I didn't realize you were from London! I live in London now but I'm spending most of the summer in northern Ontario. Are you a student? (I'm 2nd year at UWO).

There are actually quite a few folks from London on these boards... HansSolo (Alicia), Betharoo (Bethany), Vicam and myself. Lots of Toronto folks too. So anyway, hi!

Hi, my name is Alesha. I went to Fanshawe 2 years back, I'm 25 and live in Grand Bend with my family right now. My best friend has IBS and she is the only person I really "know" that is somewhat like me, and understands it. All I know is that I it sucks but there's nothing you can do, just bare with it and try to control the symptoms. Thanks for saying hey, hope school is going good for you since College and University cost so darn much! What are you taking if you don't mind me asking?

cool! very close, how are you doing this week? I saw your posts about your loss, I know how hard it is to lose someone to breast cancer and so quickly. I hope you find peace soon and think about how she is no longer suffering.
Hope you relaxed on your long weekend!!!

Hi Alesha, nice to meet you! I'm 20 and in 2nd my second year of a degree in English Lit/Philosophy. What did you take at Fanshawe? I'm up in North Bay right now for the summer with my family and boyfriend - but I miss London already too! It's nice to see family and friends but it's impossible to find a job here... so me and my boyfriend (who went to Fanshawe last year, then transferred and is now at UWO too taking English as well) may move back to London in a few weeks and try our luck there.

Thanks for asking. I'm doing OK. Rather numb. I don't know what to feel now. I just feel sort of empty. Long weekend was OK. Saw STAR WARS. It was awesome! Have you seen it?
