Nope, haven't tried that yet, my doctor really discourages that sort of thing (most doctors do I think). But it's definately something I think I'll look into soon if I don't get anywhere (or even if I do!). They just don't want me starting anything new that might mess with what's going on until I get an actual diagnosis. You a naturopathic student right? What kinds of things do you think they could do?

Thanks Michele I know it's silly how long the wait times are here...my doc actually did try and get the appointment rushed, if not I would have been waiting months! I was told to be incredibly grateful that I got in so quickly. We have a terrible doctor shortage here, all of our good docs (especially the specialists) are going to the States where they can make so much more money!

there is nothing that a naturopath would do that would do any harm or mess with anything the allopathic doctors are doing. a naturopath would work on building your system and might also be able to tell the source of all your layers of symptoms which may be a place noone has even thought of. I've been on these boards for over a year and seen how you have suffered and it makes me so upset! I am so frustrated for you! I am a naturopathic student...but I would want someone like you to go to a fully fledged naturopathic doctor....I wish I could recommend someone but I know noone in Canada.
