I just had a huge med overhaul this week that has left me super nauseated. I feel like I could gag at any given second. I can't eat. I'm sipping sips of ginger tea and water down but it's not really helping. Chewing gum too - helps with the gaggy feeling. Any other tips? Hopefully this will pass quickly.

Sometimes sucking on candies, like cinnamon mints, help me with that gaggy feeling. I hope the new meds work out and you feel better soon!

Ahhh, that's from the topamax? I never had nausea with that. It must be the combination of the meds together. Usually, if you have this side effect, it only lasts a day or two.

Saltine crackers.....that's the only thing that helps me when my stomach feels like this. Keep some of those in your tummy. It seems like the emptier your stomach is, the worst the nausea is.

Good luck! Hope it passes soon.

Smile!
I don't know if this will help for long-term nauscousness, but smiling represses the gag reflex.

This was mentioned on a CSI episode, and I've tried it, and it worked for me! (Ah, the wonderous things you learn from TV...)

Hope the symptoms go away quickly!
