DISCLAIMER: NOT IBS-SAFE! This is SOOOO not what we're supposed to have on the IBS diet, so don't tell anyone, BUT.....
I've discovered SlimFast snack bars. OMG! Folks, this stuff is to die for! The Rich Chocolate Brownie meal bars have 220 calories, are very filling, provide an entire meal, and totally satisfy my chocolate cravings. The Peanut Butter Crunch snack bars have only 120 calories and taste EXACTLY like a Butterfinger bar!
YUMMMMMMMM!
I'm very fortunate; my IBS is in remission, so I'm able to eat a lot of stuff I wasn't able to eat before. I confess, I have up to 3 -- that's THREE -- snack bars a day (only one brownie MEAL bar, though), and the only residual I get from it is slight gas from the "Maltitol syrup"  which can cause "D". In fact, the disclaimer on the package states, "excess consumption may have a laxative effect."
DISCLAIMER: As I mentioned, these bars contain dairy and are not IBS-safe. But if you can tolerate them, they're INCREDIBLE and really help me in my efforts to lose weight. So YAAAY!

Hey Bevrs, glad to hear you are feeling well and getting skinny!! If you like those bars try the ZONE bars! The chocolate Carmel Cluster is my favorite! They really fill you up!! Again, these are not IBS safe either!!
