Oprah cancelled the show!

Well, I just got an email from the girl that called me and it said "We are no longer doing IBS for this show-I will keep your information on file for future shows." That was it! I guess Oprah doesn't consider IBS worthy of her show!

That is as about as rude as you can get. Get everyones hopes up that she is going to do a show and get some real exposer for IBS and just say sorry changed our mind!!! WHATEVER!!!!!!

for a different "Oprah Show". She was supposed to call me Monday and never did. By the time early afternoon rolled around my hubby and I had already decided that were she to call me I would turn her down.
I admire Oprah for her many accomplishments but not enough that I would jump through hoops for her! I thought her staff would have a better work ethic than they seem too.
Oh well....

What sort of show did you want to see? Just curious.  You've mentioned this a couple times now and I'm so curious.

Let's face it - IBS just isn't sexy enough!
We don't get Oprah in the UK at the moment, but used to, and I have bought 3 or 4 different diet and health books after seeing them featured on her show, so this really upsets me!
Whatever we think of her or her staff, her shows have a huge audience - maybe we should start a campaign to change their minds - they should invite Heather on and have her demonstrate some recipes ...

She'll do a later show at a later date on IBS and that she'll contact us all for information... especially Heather! I can't believe it when it affects 15 - 20 % of the US population is something she can ignore... time to send her MORE letters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
