 Quinlan Leigh was born August 6 at 10:30 a.m. weighing 5 lbs, 5 ozs. For those of you following my pregnancy, it was a complete placenta previa, and I had a bleed that they could not stop so she was born early via emergency c-section. She is doing fabulous - she didn't need ICU, no IV, no oxygen, and no feeding tube. She's already out of the incubator and is doing fabulous. We are all so relieved. Thanks to all for your thoughts and prayers and support through this. We're GREAT!

I am home but Quinlan is still in hospital. She's a very tired preemie (normal). They just want her to gain more weight and be able to feed on her own. She had to have a feeding tube put in because she was getting overtired with the preemie thing and jaundice. The good news is there's nothing medically wrong with her at all ... she just needs to grow and get enough strength to self feed.
