I am so excited that I can't think straight. (Now you know why I'm clueless, Ruchie.) I met this woman in my neighborhood that works for a major magazine. When she found out about my writing background, she told me she would be happy to "hand carry" my resume to the editors when she goes to the magazine's headquarters next week. So I have my resume and samples of my work ready to take by her house. Please say a prayer for me. This would be my DREAM job!!!!! It's my favorite magazine. If I could just get an interview. This is not helping my tummy. Ha! I hope I'm not jinxing it by sharing this with you.

Way to go! Good luck. I know how you feel about dream jobs....my husband and I are trying so hard to move back to Pittsburgh to live by family. I have a "dream job" lined up, but have to wait for Tom's to come through....I will pray for you!

Thanks, guys for the support. I'm afraid to say what magazine because I'm afraid that might jinx the deal. I know that's stupid, but I feel like as soon as I reveal the magazine, the deal will go down the drain!!! If I get an interview (OH MY GOSH, I CAN'T EVEN IMAGINE THAT), I will tell you then. How 'bout that?

I just dropped off my resume and writing samples and if my stomach wasn't in knots before, it is now! She looked over my stuff and said, "This is exactly what they are looking for." She promised to hand deliver it to Human Resources on Tuesday. Oh, my God, I think I must be dreaming. Never did I think my resume would end up at this magazine. I must be dreaming! Pinch me! Even if I don't get an interview, just the thought of these editors looking over my stuff, is enough to satisfy me. I can die and go to heaven now!
