Sometimes it's the little things that matter!

I was out running errands yesterday and was starving. I stopped at Chick Fil A and ordered a grilled chicken sandwich deluxe (with lettuce and tomato) and because I asked them for "no butter on the bread," my sandwich came with a sticker on the box that said "SPECIAL." I had to smile to myself. What a change from my birthday dinner out when I made specific requests and the waitress rolled her eyes and walked off. I truly did feel "special." Hey, it doesn't take much to make me happy! (How many of you knew that this fast food restaurant butters the bun? I learned this at Weight Watchers.) By the way, the grilled chicken sandwich was delicious and it agreed with my tummy.

Wow...didn't know that! Will keep it in mind for future reference. Thanks! And happy birthday, by the way!

After writing that post about the "special" sticker, I wonder what makes you guys feel special? My husband has started making my peppermint tea first thing in the morning and bringing it (along with the newspaper) to me in bed. Boy, is he pampering me!

I feel special when my three-year old tells me that she loves me. That means alot.

That works for me too, especially when I get that rare "I LOVE YA, MOM" and a hug from one of my teenage boys.
