Some really encouraging Scripture!
-------
Rom 8:26-28: And the Holy Spirit helps us in our distress. For we don't even know what we should pray for, nor how we should pray. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God's own will. And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them.

8:35-39 - Can anything ever separate us from Christ's love? Does it mean He no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or are hungry or cold or in danger or threatened with death? (Even the Scriptures say, "For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.") No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from His love. Death can't, and life can't. The angels can't, and the demons can't. Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, and even the powers of hell can't keep God's love away. Whether we are high above the sky or in the deepest ocean, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
--------
Wow! God loves us with an unshakable, unfailing, all-powerful, everlasting love - so much so that He gave His first born, Christ Jesus, to die on the cross for all our sins so that anyone who believes will be saved!

Blessings,
Kaybee C

Dear kaybeec, Thank you for the incredibly uplifting scripture from Romans. I am glad I found this website. And am equally as glad to have found another christian. I am new to all of this, so please pardon any mistakes. Just posted for the first time today, and have already gotten some encouraging replies. Looking forward to getting to know you all. God Bless, Crimson

I am going to print it out and have it with me today, I had a few concerns re finances - like how are we going to manage the next couple of weeks but, reading that scripture, even though it is not new to me, just shows, that God is in control! He will not let my foot slip! Thanks again

Will pray for your finances - I'm in a similar situation, but God has always provided for me. I can't remember the Scripture, and I loaned my concordance to my mom, but the Word basically tells us that "His seed will never beg for bread" - paraphrased. I've only been saved for not quite seven years, during which my dad died, my mom had breast cancer and my husband left me (all in a few months time)- and my financial situation was grim - but I trusted Him and He provided. When I lost my job at a travel agency ten days after 9/11, and only two months after my divorce was finalized, I had to sell my house. But God has always provided - He is Jehovah-Jireh. He's had to teach me a few lessons along the way about stewardship - and I'm still learning - sometimes the hard way! A friend told me that God is "an on-time God - never early but never late"! He has perfect timing for everything. Have you ever read one of those little biographies from a Christian bookstore about George Mueller? He was in London and built orphanages in the 19th century - and he never asked for any money - he prayed every day for food and provisions for the children and it always showed up! God is working on me in the area of looking farther ahead - I just let too much go through my fingers. I do believe that God is faithful to His promise in Malachi 3:10. In Deuteronomy 31:7-8, He says, "Be strong and courageous!....Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD is the one who goes before you. He will be with you; He will neither fail you nor forsake you." I'm thanking Him right now, in Jesus' name, that He has already gone before you and prepared the way, and that you are never out of His hand!

Blessings,
Kaybee C

Hi, Crimson - and welcome!

There are quite a few people on these boards who have identified themselves as Christians and I'm sure many more are "lurking"! See, God had already gone before you and prepared a place for you right here - where you could see His Word and be "fed" with something that can't hurt you but will always nourish you! He is SO awesome! I'm praying in Jesus' name that these boards will be a great help and encouragement to you!

Blessings,
Kaybee C
