The guide at about.com migraine site just published an article raving about a natural migraine med called GelStat. It's ginger and feverfew that you squirt under your tongue. Plus it's very reasonable in price.

Here's the link:

So good to see you! How's it going, sweetie! I know your heads been killing you. Sorry! Too bad kisses can't make everything all better like they did when we were little!

But just in case, here's a great big kiss on your forehead! xxxx!
love

Hi guys! I'm ashamed to say I haven't been keeping up with your threads because after I saw a neurologist and changed my birth control pill, my migraines went away for three years or so. But, the other day, I got one again. A terrible, horrible, vision changing, nauseau inducing one. Luckily I had a sample left of my medicine, which I think is Maxalt quick dissolve (so the pain killer kicks in before the pain makes me throw up any medicine). I never really took much of this medicine in the past, and it worked, though it made me pass out. Now I'm freaked out about getting a migraine during the day when I can't sleep it off (with medicine help). Do you all have any suggestions for me? I'm seeing a doctor on Monday... Why did they come back? It's so not fair. I'm just down in the dumps and feeling sorry for myself I guess...

I have to wait until I feel nauseous before I can take it or it doesn't work for me but then it's great. It does work best if I get some sleep, but even if I can't it allows me to function. That and Solpadeine (or co-codamol to avoid the caffeine) are my lifesavers!
