Lisa, Okay, I guess that's my other vice. I'm a chocoholic. But it makes me flare up too. Not with d but I get really churny and in lot's of pain about 1/2 an hour after eating it. But I can't give it up either (at least it won't kill me I guess) and as far as smoking to ease stress I don't know that it does. My levels are constantly through the roof, just that quitting causes even more and I've tried to quit twice and both times had such bad d that I started smoking again just to help clog me up a bit! Weird side effect of quitting I know.

My girlfriend tried quitting a few times too and she just got nutty so her whole family said she should start smoking again cause they couldn't take it So yes, sometimes it's just not worth the aggrevation of quitting.

And to your defense, I think if I had twins I would have to start smoking too LOL

That is how I feel!!! Same thing about my weight!! Dr Atkens didn't eat carbs for how long so he would be healthy and he slipped on some ice and died!!
So I say LIVE and be HAPPY because you never know when you might slip

I did...

Hmm from 14-17 just like one or two a week..

haha 18-22 about a pack a day.. but I quit when I was 22 for about 8months.. hung out with my bestfriend from college who smokes like a champ.. started up again but then quit again two weeks later so essentially i've quit for 1.5 yrs now.

oh and although I miss it once in a great blue moon.. i hope to never do it again. it just cost alot of money, and even though its cliched i'm sick with colds and sore throats and coughts not even 25% of the time that I used to be when i smoked.
