"The road" meaning the 7 paces it takes to get to my bed! But I'm hitting the liquor again, as the beer seems to have no more desired effect. The peak kinda dropped off at hour 4, when the backs of my hands became numb.

OK, 2 more inches of Jack in a glass w/some ice, and I'm good to go! BF is passed out from the flu, snoring and mumbling in German. Looks like I'm going to have to walk the dog tonight -- HA! Shortest walk ever!!!
It's stopped snowing here, and it's nice and quiet on the street. There's a 40 foot pine outside my window bending over with snow and it's really loverly!!
It's so nice when everything slows down in the suburbs and I can take the chance to fall over in the deep, clean snow, hopefully missing my dog in the process! Tomorrow, I expect I'll be shoveling out my car with the rest of the people who live on my street, with a hangover, that is.
