My daughter is doing great. She had a sono on Monday and the clot is shrinking. She has an infection, but it's mild and is on antibiotics for it. So, she's doing wonderfully.

Baby is fine, too. She had her check up today and she's up from 7 lbs. 6 oz. to 9 lbs. 12 oz. and she's only 5 1/2 weeks old; so that's pretty good.

I'll let you know when Liana is completely healed.
Thanks again for asking,
Terri

Hi Terri,

I'm so glad your daughter is doing better. Are you taking care of your grandbaby? I'm going to see my grandaughter next week for the first time and I'm so excited. She's a little over 2 months now. I'm also going cause my son is having back surgery so that part is kinda scary.

I took care of Liana, Sam, and Kenzie for several weeks, but my daughter is able to go it alone now. (I also take care of my disabled husband, so frankly, I'm ready for a break now.)

How old is your granddaughter? Barbie, you're going to have so much fun with that little girl! I know she's already a special gem in your life, but when you see her, touch her, kiss and cuddle her..... well, your life will be changed forever.

I'm sorry your son is having back surgery, but I'm so glad you're going to go see your little baby girl. What kind of surgery is your son having? Back pain is so dibilitating, so I hope that he will be better after his surgery.

Don't worry about your flight, Barbie. You're going to be so excited about your granddaughter that you won't have time to worry.

So glad to hear that both your daughter and granddaughter are doing well. I've been thinking about them lately. Before long, that baby will be crawling around!!!

I know you are so excited about seeing your new little granddaughter. Be sure and take plenty of photos to share with us!

And I wish your son well with his back surgery. I can relate since I've had problems with my back lately. What exactly is his back problem---and how will they fix it? Will it be a long recovery?
