That was taken on our cruise last February. In fact, it was taken the same night as my profile picture was taken!
As for that "soul-patch" on his chin, I liked it fine when it was short like that but he has decided to grow it long! He wants it long enough to braid!!!!  WHY??!!! I think he is going through some sort of mid-life crisis or something!! Aw well, I still love him!

I've tried!! He used to have a soul patch at the back of his head but since he shaves his head and can't see the back, it was too hard to maintain. So, he figures if he can't grow it out in back, he will do it in front!!! He works with musicians and I guess he feels like he needs to look the part or something, I don't know!! I've told him I DO NOT like it AT ALL and really wished he would shave it but he seems to think its cool! Its not long enough to braid yet but it sure is BUSHY!!  I hope its just a phase or something because I really do hate it!

Yeah, its harmless but you should see some of the looks we/he gets!! I've decided to pick my battles carefully and have decided this isn't one I'm going to push too hard. I'm hoping the novelty will wear off before it IS longer enough to braid! I must say that he does at least keep it combed and puts gel in it to keep it as neat as possible! What do you do??

Oh, he is VERY aware that I do NOT like it one bit! I'm not sure if he thinks its going to grow on me or what. Its only hair I guess, so I try not to make a big deal out of it and hopefully he will tire of it before I shave it off in his sleep one night!! HEHE!!
