Southwestern ONtario is suposed to get slammed with 15 - 25 cm of snow today and tomorrow. I'm worried because DH is working in Toronto (2hours away) and is driving. I honestly hope he doesn't come home at all tonight - he can stay with family in Toronto. My DH is stubborn and often tries to drive through the stuff. Here's hoping common sense will prevail and he'll just stay put. I get so worried - my stomach turns to knots and I can hardly breathe.

He'll be alright, Han. I'm sure he'll use good judgment and good driving skills, too. I'll pray for him and you. Try not to worry. (Easier said than done, I know!)
Let us know how everything goes.

Hope this turns out to be a safe and relaxing night for you and your husband.

I'm in the San Fernando Valley where "a bad winter day" here would make you laugh. However, a hot summer day would make the snowpeople melt! Gets very hot, at times. Mediterranean climate. Love it.

Yet, I would love to see much of Canada, one day. Would like to travel through Mexico and Latin America, too. We've got everything on this side of the world & with air travel...I dunno about having a "Desert Christmas."

But; really, Happy Hanukah, Merry Christmas and Salaam to my Muslim friends. We are all God's People. And, the higher power(s) that be look after us.

Hey Hansolo,

I hope your hubby is ok and that he drives safely if he's driving. I can't believe how much snow we're supposed to get! It's almost 8:00pm now here in London and so far it's not too bad...maybe it'll pass over us? Try not to worry, I'm sure everything will be ok

I kinda know how you feel. My dad used to be a medical delivery person and drove for 8 hours a day and in many blizzards and freezing rain days. I used to worry so much because I knew he would be driving in very bad conditions.

He is retired now and that's one less worry for me!

Hubby pulled off the road at Mississauga and got a hotel room. I talked to him this morning and he hadn't left the hotel room yet and didn't think he was going anywhere soon. I'm so relieved. Thank you all for your prayers.

Thanks for the update, Han. I've been wondering what happened. I'm glad he's okay and didn't try to drive in such bad conditions.
Whew! You can rest easy now.
