Everyone should read...................
I found SO many things in that article that pertained to me.
I started my IBS around 20, come from a house with an alcohic father and have been diagnosed with general anxiety disorder. Also, I do not drink and there was something in it about people who don't drink are likely to have IBS. Well of course, my reason for not drinking is from growing up with a alcholic father AND because it hurts my belly to drink anyway

Yes. Very interesting. I have mental illness and don't drink. Perhaps, that I don't release stress through drinking (yet, I smoke tobacco which makes it even worse) the anger is held in my gut.
