I'm sure this has been discussed before, but does anyone else just totally fear going in a public restroom? I just can't stop thinking that someone is going to hear me going!

This seems really stupid, but the other part is never knowing what kind of BM you're going to have - and what sounds someone might hear.

If there are other people in the restroom, I wait till they all leave before I get out of the stall so they don't see me. Then I hope they don't recognize me by my shoes later on.

Tell me I'm not crazy!

Hi,

No you're not crazy. I do that, too. The place I used to work had several stalls in the bathroom. I would always wait till everyone was out or someone was flushing or sometimes I would just flush to drown out the noise. But, then there is the smell! HA!

I am a pt. time receptionist now and my desk is out in the open...anyway, the restroom is right across from my desk. I can hear everybody go but fortunately no one can hear me cause their desks are all down the hall.
