Who is into Zicam for preventing bad colds? I love the stuff. It is pricey but so worth it! I haven't had a bad cold for about 3 years.

Never heard of it but I think we have something similar (can't remember what it's called either, sorry having a ditz day today!) made from echinacea (sp?) and other herbal stuff that if you take it it's supposed to prevent the cold from being too bad. I've never tried it though. Always thought it was a bit of twaddle however am now thinking maybe I should!

I haven't tried it yet, but I got some for my son to use and it really seems to be helping a lot. With a new baby in the family, I thought I'd try it to keep his cold at bay. So far, I'm very impressed. Do you use the spray or the melts?

Zicam is my best friend. It's pricey but cheaper than missing work or school. I still usually get a touch of the colds but never the full-blown thing. Now I did get a sinus infection this year but I think I was going to get it anyway..but wow.

It is a homeopathic product but is at the regular store, near the cold medicine. They have a product just to stop coughs too. You can get a nose gel or a lozenge (which are gross) and you use it every 3-4 hours so it is pricey but if you start it when you think you are getting sick then you don't get sick! I am just about symptom free today.
