Am I the only "Sopranos" addict here? Hubby and I are soooooo hooked! We never miss a show.
Last night's episode showed Adriana under extreme stress. The FBI is after Tony, and they're going through her. She's having a hard time of it, and the stress has recently manifested itself in the form of urgent diarrhea attacks. One scene showed her on the examining table with the GI poking her knock-dead gorgeous FLAT tummy, after which he tells her, "Get dressed and we'll talk." Well, guys, we all know what he's gonna tell her, right?
You guessed it. It appears she has IBS, and they're running tests (she has to submit a stool sample), but, as she told Tony, "they tell me it's all in my head."
OY!
After her fiance, the creepy Christopher, second in line of command after Tony, beat her up and kicked her out of his apartment, those tests are showing a possible ulcerative colitis.
This show is too damn REALISTIC! From now on, I may have to stick with "Desperate Housewives".....

Unfortunately we don't get it all that often and when we do it's on really late but I'm a complete addict. Speaking of shows about IBS we have a series called All Saints about a hospital and at the end of last season one of the ambos (picture short, balding guy) came to all saints hospital to work for a while. Anyway he "passed wind" (I'll put it nicely) throughout the entire show, stinking out the ambulance, burping and thinking it's all hilarious while eating onion sandwhiches and cream donuts and every time he passed a smell he'd say "sorry, got IBS". It made me kinda go off the show a bit as it stereotyped a serious problem and tried to make a joke of it. Made me so cranky, I don't know if I'll watch next season.
