Oh Heather ...

I think you could have one of the most dramatic/traumatic reality tv series on your hands right now! Please, I beg of you, take a vacation from trouble

I'm so sorry that Kenna is still so sick. I can't believe no one has diagnosed anything! My thoughts and best wishes are headed your way - Kenna to get better and you and DH to get some good sleep! Are you still going to see a different doctor? They better come up with a way to make everything all better, or I'll be mad

Good luck, hon! Please, o please feel better! And, <<HUGS!>> to you and Kenna!!

I am glad you have a diagnosis and hopefully the right drugs and meds and she'll get better.. did they give her something that will help her at night? like cough syrup with codeine or anything or is she too young for that stuff.

Oh I'm so glad that you FINALLY have some kind of answer, Heather. Hopefully this will all be over in a few days as soon as those antibiotics kick in! Keep an eye on her though. You don't need this turning into pneumonia. If she's still coughing in a week or so I'd ask for a chest xray. Poor thing......

On a funny note, whenever my kids throw up in bed, my husband takes the sheets and throws them out! Yes, throws them away. I have so many mismatched sets of sheets in my linen closet because of him. He just doesn't understand how the chunks can be put in the washer with the sheets. Where do the chunks go he wonders Anyway, needless to say, thank goodness my children don't throw up too often. They are getting old enough to run to the toilet and at least make it close.

Heather-
Just to let you know that we are kind of in the same boat! My son got sick last night with 101.7 temp. He ended up sleeping all night and unitl 8am this morning. I of course kept checking on him. Plus I feel like crap this weekend. My throat is killing me and my tummy hurts. Can't think of why except stress. This week I have parent-teacher conferences.(joy) Plus worrying about my son. I am already taking tomorrow off which means sub plans. That's more of a hassle than being there! I have conferences from 5:30-7:30 TUesday night and all day Thursday. I hope I feel better! Hope things are better in your house!

Well I have these little nasty white things on my throat! ANd they HURT!! My son seems better but I already am keeping him home tomorrow. Problem is I don't have a regular doctor for me! I hate the doctor in our Quickcare service. But I need to make sure I don't have Strep throat. On top of that my stomach has not been good! I can't figure out why?? Oh well going to get a (hopefully) good night's sleep. Hate this time of the year for little bugs and viruses! Wishing good health to all!

hopefully she has gotten the flu out of her system and doesn't get hit again this winter. I saw a recent report on tv that the flu is already here, but it hasn't hit any states in large numbers.
Did you ask the doc about getting her a flu shot? It may be too late, but it's worth asking.
Keep my fingers crossed she doesn't get sick again.
