Good morning to all. I was diagnosed with IBS about 2 years ago. I had been suffering for about 8 years before I was diagnosed. I have good and bad days. Mostly good because I have targeted the foods that trigger my attacks. My problem is severe constipation. Thanks to my doctor I am in control of the problem. I am so glad that there is a site dealing with this illness. Sure wish there was a cure. Anyway, I am from New Mexico, 57 years old, female and the grandmother of 7 grandkids.

Welcome to the boards - where in New Mexico are you from? My sister lived in Taos for awhile, and I'd go visit her a lot. Love it there!

I am also from Northern New Mexico, like your sis. I was born and raised in Santa Fe. Taos is very much like what Santa Fe was like. Our city has changed alot.

Hello!! I'm Michele, I'm 34 and I have IBS C also!! I take miralax on a regular basis to control the C. There have been a lot of good posts lately in the diet section about C, might want to read through them if you have some time!! Welcome!
