I can turn on the glam (like I did in my pic) but can equally change into the same sweats every night after work for 2 weeks or get up on Saturday and go to the supermarket without even brushing my hair (I will definitely not leave without brushing my teeth though, that I draw the line at)
Its funny, if I think I might meet someone I make an effort, but for some reason work does not feel like meeting people. I met a friend on the way into work this morning who I haven't seen since his wedding in May (when I looked hot!) and I was immediately embarrassed by my lack of makeup, big raincoat, hair in ponytail and comfy boots, he doesn't know that me anymore!
I guess it means we have some confidence that we can go out looking like that! My mum will not leave the house without lipstick, there are about 6 of them in the car at any one time. (most of them have lost their lids along the way...YUCK!!)

I guess so. I also tend to be lazy with the make up though  Sometimes I just don't feel like going all out.

Yes that's me on a regular day....it was taken about a month ago so it's really recent....
When my tummy is acting up though....I look ALOT meaner!! hahaha

A few months back I would have said "Yes, I look exactly like my pic". But since Fibro has reared it's ugly head, I have an ugly head. LOL! I come to work with my hair still wet from a shower pulled up in a clip on my head, with glasses, and no make-up, and dressed like a bag lady. I will occassionally turn back into the woman in my pic if we have a meeting or a client is going to visit the office. But the effort isn't worth it to me on a regular day. I feel sorry for hubby. He probably wonders where in the h_ll the woman he married disappeared to and who is this bag lady? LOL!

...apathy. LOL! Not to toot my own horn or anything, but even on a bad day, I look better than 75% of the people around here. At least I wear clean clothes and make an effort to do my hair before I leave the house.
The problem I have is that Adam knows EVERYONE, so if we go anywhere together, chances are really good that we're going to bump into someone he knows and I'm going to get introduced. Nine times out of 10, it's when I'm wearing sweats and no makeup. I've just decided not to let it bother me anymore. If anyone's going to think less of me for looking like a slob, they might as well do it right from the start, rather than being disappointed when I don't live up to a pretty first impression. LOL!!
That's pretty nasty about your mom's lipstick. My mom is the same way, but she keeps hers in her purse, and as far as I know, they all have caps, haha. Yuck.
