Help! My 9 year old has been through a tons of tests and after an endoscopy, possibly thought to have IBS. Can someone have IBS if you have no bowel symptoms only stomach ache and sometimes headaches. He never has had constipation or diarrhea, or any changes in bowel movements. The stomach aches started after a food poisoining episode. It seems like everything I read about IBS, a change in bowel movements is mandatory for a diagnosis of IBS. Thanks. I would appreciate any advice.

Hello and Welcome!!
I am not sure about your questions. I would post this on the diet board you may get more answers there. I would also make the title Children with IBS/ Heather. Maybe she could help!! Good Luck!!!
