What's your favorite small luxury?

I was just posting about my SIL's automatic car starter so it's warmed up in the winter. It's like her favorite little luxury. I thought it would be interesting to find out all of yours!

Mine is taking cabs. In NY that can get expensive but it's way nicer than the subway or the bus. So I treat myself. One of the reasons I worked my behind off and saved all my money is so I could take cabs when I want to! (PS, we don't own a car so we don't have all that expense to deal with.)

I guess mine would have to be either my computer or books cause if I don't know about something or I want to know what something looks like or how it works I just look it up. I don't think I could live without a how to guide or .coms.

How's that?

I love to take naps in the afternoon while my daughter takes hers.

I am all into fancy spices lately. Fancy cinnamon and vanilla beans yum! Good olive oil and fresh stuff from the garden. Maybe food should not be a reward?!

New books. I love books! (when I last moved I had literally a dozen boxes of them, the boys who helped me move were so confused, they thought that the boxes were clothes or shoes)

Last Christmas my dil's decided I needed something special from Victoria. They bought me Body Lotion, Shower gel, the whole set, {LOVE SPELL}. Now, I am addicted to it. Being that I cannot wear perfume because of allergies, their body spray is outrageous! Love it all. Yes, I decided that this was going to be my fav luxory for the year...and believe me, I have faithfully visited the store to keep my supply going. Love it, Love it, Love it !!!!!!

Does making out count?
I don't even mean anything extremely sexual or physical ... just plain old kissing and canoodling.

It's a toss-up between Tivo and my iPod. It's hard to remember what life was like before either one.

Fish from Marks and Spencers - it's expensive but actually tastes of fish and the fillets are boned properly. Sea bass is my all time favourite and salmon and trout are great with a bit of truffle oil.

My new luxury will be my dog and two kittens that I am getting when we move - I really can't afford them as I am on sick leave for a couple of months, but it's worth it. Looks like I'll be eating cheap fish and rice for a while - either that or training the dog to catch some for me!!!!!

Good chocolate! I used to only eat milk or white chocolate because too much cocoa gave me migraines. Now I can't eat those, but I can eat 70% cocoa plain chocolate! So I treat myself to the BEST!
