I am wondering if anyone has been prescribed prozac for their IBS and if so did you try a natural alternative and did it work? I am not totally opposed to taking meds, but I would like to see if there is a natural alternative first. I am doing low fodmaps plus IBS diet for now, and I also use a few of the heather's products. I have had some relief from my gas and bloating but still have constipation and odd rectal pressure and back pressure, esp at night when I lay down or during the day if I lay down. Any help greatly appreciated. I do have a lot of stress in my life and my doctor treats his IBS patients with SSRI.
