Dear All,
I've recently started a new, more intensive, exercise regime. That is, I've significantly increased the cardiovascular workouts (walking, running, cycling) I do, both in duration and intensity and I've also increased the frequency of my yoga-from 3 days to 5-6 days per week.
This may be coincidence, or something I've ate, for example. However, I've noticed that coinciding with the increased exercise, my IBS symptoms' have become worse. I was predominantly IBS-C, but am now more at the IBS-D end of the scale, and the abdominal discomfort/pain has increased.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

A while ago when I first brought up my constipation issues with my GP(whom I've seen for years and trust) she said to me that walking/running/bike riding ect are ways to get your insides moving as well as the outside. So what's effectively happened to you is that your whole digestive system has speed up which results in dierreah. So you have to decrease the amount of cardio you're doing or try doing it every second day rather then every day.
