hi everyone, my doc recently put me on lotronex, (ibs-d) the dose that he had me on he recently told me to cut down because of the stomach cramping --my question is, i feel like the medicine still isnt helping . i will be okay for a day or two and then bam, its like labor pains, the constant urgency, afraid of driving , leaving the house. and advice will help i am going to order the tummy tea, and capsules and the book to help but any personal advice would be great.

You'll get more responses to these types of posts if you put them on the IBS Diet board. This Fitness & Lifestyle board is really for weight loss or gain, exercise type questions and not many people post here any longer.

i was just put on lomotil for the urgency and it has worked wonders..maybe ask your dr about the difference of these two meds...i hope it continues to work b/c it sure stopped the urgency problems...(so far)
