IBS symptoms are really bugging me today...I have something stressful happening tomorrow, which is probably triggering me. I do things to manage my stress overall including yoga, belly breathing, regular cardio exercise, occasionally meditation, and hypnosis.
My question is, what do you all try when you know stress is triggering an attack right now? Are there specific things I can do to help me cope with this stressful situation tomorrow...to help me get through it with minimal tummy trouble?

Probably a little late for you but I do deep belly breathing to help calm myself. I also do progressive muscle relaxation where you tense each muscle groups (lower leg then, upper leg etc) hold for ten seconds then relax. Music and fifteen minutes of yoga nidra (guided meditation help calm me)

These are great ideas. I actually made it through my stressful event with minimal tummy issues, so I am grateful for that. But I will try progressive muscle relaxation, that's something I haven't tried. Thanks!
