All I can say is that I can completely relate to you, as I am also a college student dealing with IBS. How are you supposed to explain to your friends and other people that you are sick every single day? Most people- if they felt like us- would be staying home from class. But, if we did that, we'd be staying home from class everyday. It is just so frustrating. I do yoga often and I was seeing a psychologist as well. I don't think the psychologist helped, but the yoga really helps (at least during yoga I feel good and I definitely feel healthy from it in my everyday life but I don't know how much of an impact it has had on my stomach). I hope you see improvement. Just know you're not alone. I often think no one is going through the same thing as me- but there probably is, they just don't talk about. I don't talk about it either! I hope you find a way to get a great college experience despite IBS.
