Hi Shell, I find it hard to lose weight because IBS needs carbs like bread, rice and pasta to keep it in check. What are you doing as a diet to lose weight? I would love to join, but I don't know what to eat to lose. Do you have a plan?

For week ending 10/31: I forgot to weigh today. But, earlier in the week I had lost a half pound. But not so sure, especially after passing out candy tonight , but I have to watch not to eat chocolate anyways. BUT, I'm committed to starting my exercise program tomorrow. I am going to do Jillian Michael's Shred daily with some cardio. Plus, I'm going to do the EFI diet too. Good luck to everyone this week.

I am so excited! So, I've been kinda slacking on my working out this week, b/c I felt so tired from starting the IBS diet. I did the "soluble fiber" diet for 5 days, to help my system get used to it. That was soooo hard, eating just plain rice and GF bread! But when I went to the gym on Thursday, I'd lost 4 lbs! So, I reevaluated my goal, and here's what it is now:
Steph's goal - Lose 12 lbs! Week 1 (10/24-10/30): lost 4 lbs! Week 2 (10/31-11/6): Week 3 (11/7-11/13): Week 4 (11/14-11/20): Week 5 (11/21-11/27): Week 6 (11/28-12/4): Week 7 (12/5-12/11): Week 8 (12/12-12/18): Week 9 (12/19-12/25):
I'm so excited! So's my husband! I'm nearly the weight I was when I got married!

Diagnosed w/ celiac disease June 2006, and started gluten free diet.
Stopped eating dairy June 2008.
Started IBS diet October 2008.
Diagnosed w/ hypothyroidism in 2008 and lost 45 unwanted lbs!
