I am a 6'3 male who has been active all his life since having IBS I cant seem to get enough calories to gain weight back that a lost in flare ups.I get about 3,000 to 3,300 calories a day. I feel so much better when I work out but am afraid to because I keep loosing weight.
Is there a safe way to get more calories through drinking liquids

Sometimes there are little things you can add to your meals/snacks, like a serving of peanutbutter, or adding protein powder to shakes/drinks...you could look for some boosters like that. Definitely milkshakes (soymilk & soy yogurt, depending on your tolerance) can help with weight gain, and you can add those boosters and peanut butter, etc to them.
