I need some recommendation for a good multi vitamin that will not upset my stomach. With not eating any red meat, dairy , eggs etc. I am concerned my body is not getting the proper nutrients. This morning I woke up with a achy legs and arms like a crampy uncomfortableness. ( not like when you work out just achy, crampy and fidgety feeling. Makes me think my body is lacking a vitamin?? mY mom has Osteoporosis's and I also need to watch so Im getting proper calcium intake. I also feel tired often throughout the day ( no coffee so no caffeine & I have no pick me up )
Please give me your recommendations as to what is safe to take..
Like is centrum ok ?? Or just take single vitamins like b12 etc..

hi avonlady,
this is the first time im going on a message board. I just wanted to know if you ever received an answer to your help for vitamins recommendations? Unfortunately, I waited to long to take calcium now i have osteoporosis I also have ibs, gluten/lactose intolerance i now have to take something like Boniva intravenous injections, just wonder if you came across anyone that might have tried that?
thanks, h77

Welcome to the boards ..
I have found such incredible help here on the boards for all kinds of things and my diet especially has been a blessing as I am pretty much 100% attack free. You will love it here and the info will help you immensely I have safely been able to take b-6 and b-12 of course I take a 1/2 only and with food. I haven't seen any other answers but can tell you that Calcium pills can cause constipation. I get my calcium from Tums caps since I cant have dairy & I also drink Almond milk which has vitamin D, calcium and vitamin E. It tastes wonderful and I use it for all my baking, cereal etc.. I usually get the Vanilla Almond milk by Almond Breeze.. They just started carrying it in the COLD..Grocery Dairy section, They make also a Chocolate Almond milk & its Unbelievable too. That should help you get the calcium you need
