Trying to stay on track after a rough weekend. There's something about late weekend nights, even without drinking, that gets all my defenses down.

1 egg + 1/2 c whites
1/2 c mushrooms
1 t nutritional yeast

1 1/2 T peanut butter
apple
1/2 c unsweetened soy milk
small piece dark chocolate

stir fry:
zucchini
green beans
tempeh
shiratake noodles
black bean sauce

1/4 c trail mix
(I made my own: almonds, cashews, cranberries, date pieces, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds)

1/2 c lactaid cottage cheese
1/2 c frozen blueberries
1 T wheat germ
2 T walnut pieces

vegan meatball
broccoli rabe w/ garlic

a few pieces dried papaya
dried date pieces

Aside from the meatball and broccoli rabe (which I ate out, so I don't know the calories), I was at 1268 calories, 77g protein, 42% calories from fat. So that's probably about 1550 calories, and maybe 85g protein. I could've done without the papaya and dates at night, but at least I stopped myself there. (Had to go brush my teeth, but whatever it takes.)

This is going to take longer than a month to get right. Breaking these habits is really hard, and as I get them out of most days, they come on even stronger when my guard is down. It's not easy, and it's not fun, and reporting in and counting calories is boring, but I have to stick with it, otherwise I'll never change.

That's what I have to remember - this is about change. Changing the way I eat, the habits I have, to something healthier and saner. Must keep that in the front of my mind.
