Well I started my diet today instead of yesterday. Yesterday was a transition day since I still had some foods in the house I wanted to get rid of.
Breakfast:
I started the day with Scottish oats with raisins, cinnamon and stevia. It was not so good.
breaks: (work day)
2 bananas
orange
1/3 pineapple
raisins and a few pieces Crispix (very little sugar)
pistachios

lunch:
little bit roasted chicken thigh and roasted vegetables including potato

dinner:
hakka ginger chicken (again thighs- ate 2)
rice with lots of ginger
mixed vegetables (peppers, bok choy, shiitake, scallions)

additional:
tea and 2 gingins (they have sugar but I am allowing 2 a day for the tummy benefits)

I am having a big sugar craving now! Will be going through major withdrawl.

Exercise:
did almost the full T tapp beginners tapes today. Ran out of time because I watched the intro stuff. Tomorrow I can do the whole thing.

Today was a bad day. I got my all over sick thing where I am no good all day. I am starting to think it is not IBS but migraine based. I never thought I had headaches or migraines but now have to look into it. So today I couldn't exercise at all and ate little, but I did stay on my diet!
Breakfast: late in morning had a large bowl of Scottish oats cooked on the stove (better) with some peaches from a can in it and stevia.
Lunch: banana, grapefruit, corn chips
Dinner: leftover chicken, rice and veggies with carrots.
cup of tea with stevia and an orange.
That's it. Hopefully I feel great in the morning!

Today I woke up headachy and nauseated again but came around in the afternoon. No exercise besides some housecleaning and I stayed home from work.
Breakfast: quick oatmeal and raisins with stevia
lunch: carrots and rice, and peeled pear
snack: banana and pistachios
dinner: small chicken breast, rice and spinach/broc mashy mess with some peanut sauce
snack: tea and raisins and corn chips also a few blackberries
My gut was very flat today until just a few minutes ago. So things are going pretty well. I should be back to normal tomorrow.

Today I felt great!
Exercise: a full hour of T Tapp. I was very warm when done. you actually get hot where she says- your core, down the front and back. It was hot even after I showered.

Breakfast: oatmeal with raisins like yesterday
snacks: 3 bananas, pear, orange, pistachios
lunch: carrots, little bit of rice, some deli chicken slices, pineapple
Dinner: leftover rice and chicken breast with peas (not a lot- was nasty)
snack: crispix and raisins
need to drink my acacia tea mix still- yawn
Weight is 138.5 BTW. Highest lately was 140 so I have about 18 pounds to reach my goal weight.

IBS update: the diet seems to be going very well. I had a teeny bit of gas but no real bloat!

Today was pretty good. The cals were quite low.
I did my T Tapp workout.
breakfast: wasn't very hungry- banana, peaches and blackberries
snack: banana, pear
lunch 1: oatmeal
lunch 2: carrots -steamed
dinner: salmon fillet (small), curried quinoa with dried fruit and almonds, roasted brussel sprouts and broccoli with pecans, sesame oil and orange zest
snack: plain cheerios (mini box), raisins, pistachios
Cals: 1570

I had some bad stomach pain today because I forgot my snacks when I ran errands and I was gone for a few hours. I came home in pain and had a banana and pear and felt better in 15 minutes. I am coming back from that sort of thing really quickly and I am still not bloating!

What do you attribute your non-bloatiness to? T Tapp? Or some food you removed? If so, which one?

Brussel Sprouts, broccoli, pears, and bananas with no bloat is quite impressive!!!

I won't know which food is causing me to bloat until I add back in the soy/carageenan, sugar, msg components and wheat. I am not sure which I will add back first.

I can't remember exactly what I ate but it is pretty much the same as the other days.
B: oatmeal
snacks: fruit and probably pistachios
lunch: leftover quinoa and brussel sprouts and broccoli
dinner: crab cakes, carmelized onion and roasted garlic mashed potatoes with org. chicken stock for liquid (yum) and salad
Note: I used panko crumbs on my crab cakes and so that is my first cheat. I had gas in the night but no bloat.
Dessert: raisins and tea

Exercise: TTapp instructional 2 (still not sore)
weight 138

Today I had a little more tummy problems than the last 6 days but nothing too bad.
Exercise: T Tapp tape 2
B: oatmeal with banana
snacks: banana, canned pears, orange?
lunch: 100 cal popcorn, raisins, pistachios
I can't remember exactly what I ate through the day and when
dinner: chicken breast with asparagus and tahini sauce, croquettes with spinach, from leftover mashed potatoes.
tea with acacia and a gin gin and dry crispix.

So I had the panko bread crumbs yesterday and also a little bit tonight on the croquettes. I could have bought GF breadcrumbs but didn't want to spend the money. Right now I am thinking they did make me a little more gassy/bloaty but really I am not sure.

Didn't get to exercise today- no time.
B- oatmeal
snacks- banana, orange, crispix, raisins, pistachios, pear
lunch- egg white tostada sort of thing
dinner- leftovers from Sunday
dessert- tea and a grapefruit.
Cals maybe 1600 tops
Weight is back to 139.
Tummy- awesome, just a little gas; no pain and no bloat. I did have leftover croquettes with panko crumbs.

Exercise: T Tapp tape 2- getting easy now; will start rehab tape tomorrow. It is 67 min.
Breakfast: oatmeal
snacks and lunch: carrots, banana, 'honey bar' (was out of the house and it is safe), pistachios, crispix and raisins
dinner: rice, broccoli, asian meatloaf jumbo muffin size
Cals: very low- 1280 right now.
7:30 made a SF/GF apple crisp for myself with acacia in it
Weight: 139
Thighs: gross
Tummy: still awesome! no pain and no feeling of bloat (if I have bloat that is different than if I feel it. I care mostly at this point about how it feels. If I can get to not feeling any and no pain then I will want a flat all the time tummy.)

I should not have made the personal apple crisp. The idea was to break my nighttime sugar/carb habit, not to switch to a different kind of sugar and still pig out! I used stevia and maple syrup (stevia gets funny if you bake it I think- or it was burnt pecans, because most bites were awesome but sometimes there was a very nasty taste) along with an apple, smart balance, pecans and oatmeal. It was good but totally not what I am supposed to be doing. And I had to eat it all because my acacia was in there. I wish I had not eaten it! Now I suppose the sugar cravings will be there tomorrow night too.

Wow ten days! I had a set back this morning in my fortitude. I think I am back on track now. I had a mini European biscuit and I thought whatever it is just a little sugar and then I realized it was flour too, duh! Anyway afterward I got bad cramps around my belly button. Really sharp pains that had me almost on the floor at work. Then that went away and I got a migraine behind my eye again. Luckily it didn't get bad. I have a dr. appt for my headaches in 12 days. I need to go to a TMJ specialist. Anyway I felt bad about my biscuit cheating and after being in pain (not sure why) I got my fortitude back.
Exercise: whole T Tapp Rehab tape, 67 minutes. It was awesome! Once you can handle the instructional tapes the regular tapes are great.
B: oatmeal (I am so sick of oatmeal! My first bowl this morning was goo and I had to throw it out and try again. I really am craving a bowl of cereal more than anything else! )
snacks: crispix and raisins, 2 bananas, pineapple
lunch: leftover meatloaf and rice
dinner: rice noodles with a Thai coconut seafood thing, green beans
dessert: banana and orange
I am really going to try to conquer my addiction tonight and not give into temptation!!!

I was blood tested for it and the first one came pack positive. I went GF for 2 weeks with no benefit (I was still eating other triggers then). Later I was retested and was a negative. The first test might have been inaccurate due to antibiotics. So my GI doc said I did not have Celiac's. However I am wondering if I could still have a wheat allergy. I will continue to test it out and maybe I'll get a blood test for that.

I was firmly resolved today.
Exercise: T Tapp rehab tape (I was supposed to lift weights and treadmill but just wanted to T Tapp).
Breakfast: oatmeal and raisins
snacks: 3 bananas, orange, pistachios, pineapple
lunch: sweet potato with margarine
dinner: leftover rice noodles and green beans along with peanuts and raisins for dessert
other: tea with acacia
No cheating!!!
I felt awesome today and had a lot of energy. I am running around the house after a long day and I think it is the T Tapp. I turned down chocolate torte samples at work.

Friday
Another day without bloat! and I am energetic and happy too.
Exercise: 35 advanced walk on treadmill

Breakfast: 2 large packets organic oatmeal (no raisins but had to add a little honey)
snacks: 2 bananas, orange, dry crispix, too many pistachios
lunch: sweet potato
ate nothing between lunch and dinner
dinner: wok steamed salmon with teriyaki from EFI, rice, broccoli
Dessert: pineapple and tea with acacia

Doing so well I am planning to keep up as much as possible with my diet. I haven't lost weight yet. Tomorrow we are visiting friends and going out and Sunday too so I will try my best.

Saturday
I don't remember exactly what all snacks I had today but I have a gist.
Exercise: most of T Tapp but not all. Also walked at a museum several hours.
B: oatmeal
snacks: various fruits, honey bar, ?
lunch: balsamic chicken salad
dinner: Thai takeout, seafood stirfry with extra veggies and 1 fresh spring roll.
dessert: 3 or 4 chocolate squares (reintroduced chocolate and sugar)
I felt very good all day. I did get bloated right before bed and could have been the choc or the stirfry or just staying at friends can make me bloated. Anyway I wasn't in pain and I didn't have bad gas.
Also had movie theater non buttered popcorn.

Sunday
I didn't sleep well at all and woke up very tired.
B: oatmeal with raisins and a banana
snack: honey bar
Then things went bad. We had to go out for lunch and I didn't know where to request to go. We went to a pancake place and it took a long time to eat! By the time we got seated I was very weak, dizzy and tired. I stayed away from wheat and ordered a eggbeater mushroom omelet and hashbrowns made without butter and limited oil. But our waiter was terrible and I don't think the hashbrown were made with limited oil at all! I took 2 pep caps and an immodium when I realized the situation. I had to use ketchup with HFCS and it has been a long time since I had HFCS. The omelet wasn't good but anyway I ate most of what I ordered. We drove home in a snow storm and I was stressed. Then when we got home I made myself some veggies and after I ate them and some raisins and peanuts I quickly got horrible D. I was almost too weak to walk to bed. I slept all night with tummy pain! So now I have to start over again with my special diet so that I will be stable.

I spent most of the day still sick from the D last night. I laid around and then napped and then did a little bit and made dinner. I didn't get to exercise again today.
B: dry crispix
2B: oatmeal
snacks: 100 cal popcorn, raisins, 20 peanuts, banana, orange
dinner: 1 chicken breast with a red wine mushroom sauce (I made this for DH's lamb chops and there was beef stock in it), rosemary potatoes, salad with oranges and hazelnuts
lots of tea
except for my all day nausea and lethargy I think I am feeling ok.

Tuesday
No exercise- still felt nauseated when I woke up but was fine later. I worked very hard and hopefully that was something.
B: oatmeal
snacks: 2 banana, granola bar, pear, orange, grapefruit
lunch: 100 cal popcorn
d: 1/2 leftover chicken breast, potatoes, snap peas
later snacks: little crispix, raisins and peanuts and a banana (when I snack on crispix, raisins and peanuts it is just a couple handfuls into my mouth before or after dinner)
tea with acacia
I was pretty good today but still trying to get back to normal. Still have not had wheat but that little biscuit cookie from last week.

Wednesday
Exercise: T Tapp rehab video plus lots of walking and running around all day
B: oatmeal -higher cals today
snacks: 3 small bananas, 1 granola bar, pear, orange, pineapple
lunch: 100 cal popcorn
dinner: big antipasto salad with tuna and pepperoni (turkey) and peppers and veggies along with polenta triangles with safe pesto in them
snack: crispix, raisins and peanuts but not much
might have a grapefruit
cals have been about 1600 per day lately

I still feel pretty good but not as well as last week. I didn't really bloat too much today but I was a little gassy but my poop schedule is off right now. I think I will be back to normal tomorrow. I really like the T Tapping and it seems to make me feel better.
