breakfast - 2 sawdust cinnamon muffins
snack - sawdust cinnamon muffin
lunch - 1/2 serving chicken stew, cup pears
snack - pretzels (2 oz-ish?)
dinner - tuna & lite mayo on hoagie roll
dessert/snack - mint Newman-O's (too ashamed to admit how many) (but I AM PMSING! how do you expect me to go without sugar and chocolate?!?!?!)
liquids - 50 oz water, 12 oz "other" completely unsafe beverage (how did that get in there? )

Since tomorrow is Thanksgiving, I plan on developing Food Amnesia so I won't be reporting in. This has nothing to do with the remaining mint Newman-O's. Or the double chocolate brownie mix sitting on the kitchen counter.

Okay, so I've done 7 successful days of Phase 2 which logically would mean moving to Phase 3. But I'm not doing Phase 3.

Phase 3 is partly about food shopping: only buy from a list (I almost always do); never shop when hungry (I almost never do); and only go to the grocery store once a week (that's not happening).

Phase 3 is partly about food storage: stuff like only buy unsliced bread which I almost always do anyhow so no problem and no food visible which means stuff like covering all fruit bowls, hiding snacks in brown paper bags, making sure everything that could remotely be eaten as a snack in the fridge is covered, and so on. Just thinking about doing all that makes me want to lie down and take a nap.

So I figure I'll skip right to Phase 4 and when I complete all the Phases if I still feel I need to be modifed more, I'll go back and do Phase 3. (And pigs will fly and whistle while they do it.)

Anyhow, Phase 4 is Become Aware Of Your Eating. There are 4 new tasks:
1) Sit down to eat.
2) Use a full place setting when you eat.
3) No distractions while you eat - No TV, book, radio, nothing but conversation with other people at the table.
4) Drink an 8-ounce glass of water before each meal. (I also do it before each snack to make sure I get enough fluid during the day.)

The scoring ranges for Phase 4 are:
0: Excellent!
1-21: Good
22-39: Fair
40+: Start Again

Okay, here's my actual report:

Phase 4, Day 1
Score: 23 - Fair

I did not do my exercises today either. That's two days in a row. One more day and I'm in big trouble.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
