Felt crappy all day...my tummy has been really bloated and gassy, but also my blood sugars have been really out of control, which always takes a toll on me emotionally, as well as physically.
*iced soy coffee, a couple bites reduced fat fruit and oat scone
*small container of brown rice pesto pasta with artichoke hearts and tomatoes
*apple and pretzels with a bit too much peanut butter...trying to get some calories in!
I still feel pretty much like hell, looking forward to my heating pad and a warm bed...
Hope you're all doing well!

Julia, I send you hugs. You really sound like you're struggling. Indeed, you sound beyond tired and overwhelmed.
Are there any treats you can keep handy? Some soy ice cream or tofutti cuties? Can you keep some quick-fix meals stashed in the freezer? Maybe some veggie burgers? Soups? (I'm becoming a split pea soup nazi, lately!) Sweet potatoes are really fast and combine well with beans for a filling/quick meal. If you have a rice steamer, you can have great (and interesting)(and cheap) eats in less than 20 minutes--trust me, I live on basmati rice or quinoa and beans and greens. Maybe you could try having half a peanutbutter or almond butter sandwich for a snack?
I pray that you find the self-love and motivation to be the difference, to make the difference in your life. You seem to display such detachment, helplessness and apathy. Don't give up! You're worth the effort. It's all a part of growing up, which you cannot avoid through disordered eating.
Kate.
