I sprained my ankle really badly...so taking my daily walk is off limits, I guess.
Problem is, I'm really a chronic C...so exercise is very important, I would think.
Any ideas on how I can get through the next week or so of "rest" and still be able to do something to help the C situation? I don't own any exercise equipment and I'm not a member of a gym.
I'm really worried things are gonna go from bad to worse because I can't walk.
Thanks anyone.

SOME may think I'm crazy....but I personally like to do sit-ups or other ab work to help me with my "C"... just be careful with your breathing to not INHALE too deep, as that causing me to have gas. Also try some easy Yoga moves.... (see the Yoga for IBS board, there is a link above).
Hope that helps some...

I second the ab workout. Next to running, ab workouts are the thing that make me have to go the most. As a D this isn't so much a good thing, but it should help for C!

I can't wait until I can start back walking again. I tried to walk today, but didn't get very far.

I have no ab muscles! I can't even do a sit up.

then lay on your back.... put the palms of your hands towards the ceiling... and press up....just doing very small crunches.... OR bring your legs into the air and do a slight reverse crunch...you don't have to lift very far off the ground for either of these to get the effect... you might even release some wind while your down there.....hehehe
