Workout D

I've started working out again, and I'm reasonably stable (assuming watching diet, not having period, or too stressed or sleep deprived, etc.), and I'm quite happy with that. I've noticed, however, that immediately after I work out, I've been having D. Not bad D, but towards the end of my workout (generally an hour or a little over) I start getting the ever familiar "now might be a good time to be heading towards the bathroom" feeling. Not at all like the "drop every thing and run" way it used to be, and it's just loose, not completely watery, so really, it's not so bad, just noticing the trend. I am working out in the morning, which has always been my worst time of day (as so far as D is concerned), but I hadn't even been having my "usual" morning D lately.

Has anyone else had this problem? I'm hesitant to take imodium or anything, as I'm not having any problems the rest of the day. (I do eat breakfast before I go to the gym, the same types of breakfasts I've had almost every day for a year or two....cereal, oatmeal, cream of rice, etc., so no change there.)

Anyone else experienced this?

I've heard that some people have trouble after a vigorous workout. What type of exercises are you doing? Maybe you should try something a bit more gentle. I've noticed (for myself) that activity generally seems to get my bowels moving. I'm not sure why but it does. I usually work out in the late afternoon and feel better that if I work out in the morning.

Most of the time I get D when working out or doing stairs at the plant. Always thought that it was just me ....
