Hey there, Wind, Stephie, Snorkie, HansSolo, jaime q, and sgebhardt!

This is a "follow-up" to my post last month in which you all helped me out.

I joined last Thursday. I'm excited about it 'cause I just KNOW I'm gonna lose weight, but you guys were "spot on"! Their products contain HFCS, Maltitol Syrup, artificial sweeteners, and HeavenForbidDairy! My tummy is NOT happy about this, not one bit. I've had several disagreements with it, and last night when I unzipped my "hot jeans," tummy popped out and flew across the room.

Oy. This is a struggle. I was so sick last night, tummy wouldn't let me do my exercise. I'm better today, but tryin' to stay clear of the WW frozen desserts. They're delicious, but OMG, the ingredients! Yowza!

I made the zero-points veggie soup today, using some of my home-made stock, and I gotta tell ya, it ROCKS. I think it's gonna be my mainstay 'cause tummy is happy with it.

I'm going to the meetings across town (met several new gals and had fun with them), AND doing the online program as well. I've given myself 8 months in which to lower my cholesterol and blood pressure, not to mention my weight (although the weight is the least important of the three). I hope tummy will survive.

I'll check back with ya in 8 months. Thanks again.

Let us know how it goes. Who knows? Maybe I'll get inspired and try a modified version. I'm on new meds, so maybe I can lose now.
Good luck, Mom!

I went to see a nutritionist through my work about a month ago and one thing she was very strict about me staying away from were all the sugar alcohols. I know you mentioned stuff with Maltitol.
She said that she has a super strong stomach, but if she has even one diabetic candy with that stuff in it, she ends up in the potty for ages.
She said the more I have, the sicker they'll make me and I should avoid them first and foremost.

Just thought I'd share!

Good luck on Weight Watchers, let us know you are doing from time to time if you get the chance!

**hugs**
Cheers,
--Steph

Well, thank you SOOOOO much for the "heads up"!!! The WW chocolate toffee, which is to die for, by the way, is full of that stuff! I had 5 of them today. It's no wonder I'm not feeling well....

WW is quite a challenge! There's SOOOO much I can't have. But ya know, this could be a good thing. The more I can't have, the less I'll eat. The less I eat, the more I lose. Yeah, that's it. It's a good thing. Right?

.....oy .......
