I'll probably have some snacks later: strawberry soy yogurt smoothie and Crispix, or vanilla Soy Dream ice cream. Something like that.

--extra small banana --extra small banana --spinach/green bean puree --zucchini fries --2 HUGE oyster mushrooms ( with 5 medium celery stalks and a few red onion slices, broccoli puree (2 servings)(I think oyster mushrooms are my favourite, now. Chopped in the food processor prior to cooking they get to be the texture of ground meat or tuna salad.) --large microwave baked pear with cinnamon (HEAVENLY!!! I love watching it bubble)
I think I'm doomed. I love harvest fruits too much. I could live on mostly fruit!

What does pumpkin taste like? I'm rather curious. It sounds like something I'd like, but in a kind of warming/spicy way.

I guess it's kind of like butternut squash but a little bit more bitter. I've only had canned pumpkin, so I can't say what fresh pumpkin puree tastes like.

still bearing the whims of the little cravings tyrant. i have this image of a 3-foot-tall dictator... there's a particular drawing i see in my mind's eye... can't remember where it's from. but anyway. just trying to ride this wave and eat the healthiest things i can while not driving myself crazy with fighting the cravings (which, today, weren't for specific foods, but just for a *lot* of food). i know the food mania will pass and i'll go back to being okay with less. hoping that going with the cravings (healthily) rather than fighting them will be better in the long run.
1/2 plain bagel
honey nut cheerios w/ soy milk
1/2 bagel banana
pasta w/ zucchini, mushrooms, & a little olive oil
1/2 pita scallion hummus 1/2 veggie bologna sandwich
3 pieces dried papaya luna bar
2 buttered popcorn rice cakes (35 calories each) 1 waffle with syrup
also, as usual, lots of tea (3 or 4 mugs - new amazing spiced rooibus, plus usual chamomile and blueberry) and water (2 liters?), and various walking.

Do you make your own scallion hummus? If so, is it just a basic hummus recipe with scallions added? It sounds very tasty.

it's actually store-bought. they make lots of varieties - vegetable, garlic, olive, spicey. i have to say, though, the scallion stuff hasn't really been impressing me. it tastes somehow dull. i bet it'd be much better with fresh scallions.
