Thanks for the warning! Lol. That's happened to me before. Traumatizing! I guess I'll wait to try this when I'm not working.

I'd be plugging up the toilet. I used to eat that alot for lunch and well...it's a jammer, that's for sure. It's really good though. It's not as bad as apple/beet or apple/winter squash--both are really really good.

When I was in Mexico, years ago, I ate alot of blackbeans and bananas.

Kate.

Hello my name is Joanne. I am new to the board and I'm not sure I really know if I'm using it properly. My IBS symptoms are bloating, gas and the big "D". Are baked apples and pears ok for me? Thanks.

Hi, WendySmiling!

I'm bad with measuring out things, but this is pretty easy to make and I think it tastes really good.

I use a small ice cream scoop or a soup spoon.

Ingredients:
- about 3 scoops of pumpkin puree (canned)
- about 6 scoops of Vanilla Soy Dream "ice cream" (I find if I use double the amount of "ice cream" to pumpkin, I don't need to add sugar or a lot of the Rice Dream beverage.)
- couple of splashes of plain Rice Dream
- pumpkin pie spice, to taste

Blend!

If you want a better recipe to follow, there are a couple of Pumpkin Pie Smoothie recipes in the recipe index:

Pumpkin Pie Smoothie #2

I've never been to Mexico, but I had a friend in college from Argentina and he would make me "Moros y Cristianos" - black beans and white rice, which is a Cuban dish, I think. Anyway, I grew up mostly eating lentils, garbanzo beans and fava beans (Spanish side of family), and pinto beans (Mexican side), but now I like black beans the best.
