B: usual
snacks: 2 bananas, luna bar
L: leftover soup, only a tiny bit, 1 slice italian peasant bread and 2 slices zucchini bread
D: wild oyster mushroom cakes (made up recipe and it was pretty good ), shrimp coconut rice, broc, cauli
De: probably raspberries and soy creamer since my friend who loaned me the dehydrator for my oyster mushrooms gave me homegrown raspberries.
Ex: could only get 3 full rounds of weights/ball done and not time for aerobics. Did go up and down the stairs a lot when taking out winter clothes and putting away summer clothes.
Other: even though I ate pretty recently I already have very stinky gas! must be the brassicas.

IBS-A for 20 years with terrible bloating and gas. On the diet since April 2004. Remember this from Heather's information pages:
"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!

My Doctor did a double-take in a good way. My hair explosion blew her away, ditto for my colour/glow. I had no idea how deathly pale and vampirical I appeared. Her prescription?
TO CONTINUE EATING INTUITIVELY, high silica, high protein (i.e. double the R.D.A.), high selenium. My meds. mess up absorption of a lot of vitamins/minerals. I don't know my weight--I don't really care as I'm terminally underweight. But, well, I am losing. So, basically...she upped my anxiety/panic/OCD pills. So, now I must just eat intuitively and well not worry about it too much.

Also sleeping so much better. Now...I must contemplate doing some muscle building. Lol, the muscles of the daughter of a woman born in Brussels (i.e. Belgium). Yes, I must brussel sprout some muscle.

Just ecstatic re: positive feedback/M.D. support & encouragement re: eating like a quasi-cavewoman with modern toys,
Kate.

Excellent update, Kate! Your doctor sounds really great, too. How long have you been seeing her?

Did have time or energy, probably to eat enough calories.

Slept until noon. Sometimes days are just better if I delete mornings. Yes, I might have to do this more often, or make it a habit. I have the luxury of this option. Yes, mornings, indeed are mistakes.

Food intake du jour:

--1 c. egg whites
--4 oz tuna
--1/2 c. shrimp

Raw:
--Iceburg lettuce, 1 small head
--Iceburg lettuce, 1 medium head
--6 very baby dills--maybe I should call them preemie pickles?

COMMENT: Okay, I've eaten all the lettuce, finally. I eat it compulsively. It's doing me no good...it just wooshes through me, without being too graphic. I didn't buy anymore. Temptation is no longer here. Yes, I am hugely tempted to buy more.

Cooked:
--spinach/basil/garlic puree (POPEYE PESTO)
--green SWISS CHARD puree (DIVINE!!!), basil, garlic, shallot, chives...
--crimini mushrooms (really narcotic, i.e. used sedating herbs like lavender, tarragon, etc.-beyond 'herbs de provence!' lol!
--red onion, yellow onion (1.5 cups) Mmmm....onion really likes me. Ditto for garlic
--about 8 cloves of garlic (I love boiling the stuff with sea salt and eating it with lemon and herbs as an appetizer)
--2 c. green onion
--1/2 c. fennel bulb/fronds
--2 small celery stalks

Kate.
