-------------------- IBS-A for 20 years with terrible bloating and gas. On the diet since April 2004. Remember this from Heather's information pages:
"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!

Still being a rebel!
Here's what I consumed and most definitely not all at once:
--12 egg whites (hard-boiled) --spring mix, belgian endive, green/yellow beans --"faux-tatoes" (cauliflower) --cremini mushrooms (6 cups) --red leaf lettuce --spinach/herb puree (stuffed in my angelic egg whites)(really yummy, incidentally and high protein) --1 L veg. broth --condiments: fatfree Italian dressing, dijon mustard, seasoned rice vinegar, fish sauce, a little chili garlic sauce
I miss fatfree french dressing with a passion!!! Feeling stronger. I like those egg whites--they're so easy to tummy and mellow/versatile. Pure albumin, what can I say? Must see what else I can do with them that is safe.
Around 1000 calories, probably slightly less. Nutrition maximized. I'm too SATISFIED to want anything else.
