Sigh. The weight I lost is slowly creeping back on. On new meds which SHOCKER HERE!!! cause weight gain. I have to walk my son to school every other day, so I'm going to start an exercise regime next week. Walking on school days AND getting back to the gym. Any encouragement would be GREAT HERE!!!!!!!!!!

Hiya! Nice to have you back! I mean, not nice that you are back because of the weight gain but still nice to see your friendly self around this boards. I am sure that you'll get that weight off again - Hey, you've done it once so I have no doubt that you can do it again! Walking to and from the school every day sounds like a great way to start.
We'll all be here rooting for ya!! **hugs** --Steph

Welcome back, Alicia! I like your "active" plan of attack re: weight gain. It's bizzarre re: drugs/weight gain or loss. It tends to be one way or the other. Mine cause the opposite problem. I'm having a heck of a time just keeping up to myself!
Exercise is a good thing for your brain--it gets those endorphins going and effects your dopamine receptors--nature's opiates.
Kick some butt! (I'm still in lazy bum mode, but I've been doing 20 min. walks--my MD won't let me do anything more or strenuous, yet.)
Kate.
